Study on part load value of water chillers in underground stations
Liu Yijiang
The part load value (PLV) comprehensively considers meteorological factors, actual load, and operating conditions. This makes it convenient to compare and evaluate the units under actual conditions of use, helps to promote the actual operating performance level of the units and has been widely adopted by the air conditioning industry. The PLV defined by the national standard has a broad spectrum and aims to cover all climate zones and various building types in the country. In the application scenario of the subway station, the air conditioning load has its inherent characteristics. Therefore, it is not suitable to use the PLV points and calculation method defined and recommended by the national standard directly. This paper selects the representative cities of different climate regions in China, on the basis of an in-depth study of the characteristics of air conditioning load in underground stations, and proposes the definition of the PLV as well as corresponding calculation method for the application scenario of underground stations.
